Хью Джекман уходит? Marvel присматривается к звезде «Медведя»
Hugh Jackman played Wolverine for nearly a quarter of a century, starting with the first X-Men movie in 2000. Now Marvel may be preparing to pass the claws to someone else. Jeremy Allen White, who won an Emmy for his role as Carmy Berzatto in The Bear, has reportedly met with Marvel about a part in the upcoming X-Men reboot. According to the report, White would start with a small role that would lead to more screen time later. Об этом сообщает портал BGR.
Marvel has not commented publicly on White or on who will play the next Wolverine, and the report does not say whether he has been offered the part. One factor in his favor is his height: White is 5'7", close to the 5'3" Wolverine of the comics. Jackman last appeared as the character in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine, seven years after Logan was supposed to be his final outing.
Marvel has already announced much of its new X-Men cast, unveiled at D23 in August. Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey, Kit Connor is Cyclops, Christopher Abbott takes on Professor Xavier, Samara Weaving is Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette is Rogue, Maya Boyd is Storm, and Adam Driver plays the villain Mister Sinister. Wolverine was not among them, and Kevin Feige has said the cast is not yet complete.
Jake Schreier is directing the X-Men movie, which is set for release on May 5, 2028. The script is being rewritten by Lee Sung Jin and Joanna Calo, who worked with White on The Bear. White's first meeting with Marvel did not go well: in 2023 he admitted to asking executives why he should do their movie, and later called his behavior disrespectful. On the Happy Sad Confused podcast in October 2025, he said he had played it all wrong, though he praised Jackman's performance as Wolverine.
